Hi Stefan,
I just want to let you know about another problem with these links, just in case you aren't already aware of it. I have a .doc file with links to other files on my PC. These used to be relative links that were defined based on where my .doc file was located. The links now point to my user/AppData directory, as if it is expecting me to store other documents there.

I recommend that you start a separate thread on this issue. Generally, though, Word isn't very good at dealing with relative links.
