Inconsistent spacing between styles
Any ideas why this is inconsistent? I reapplied the styles, this should have cleared overrides. Seems to start after the fourth H1.
Thanks

Carole: You should have your Show/Hide button turned on to ensure there are no hard returns floating in there between paragraphs. If there are no hard returns, then in my experience, it's caused by spacing before or after paragraphs. Are you sure there isn't spacing before your paragraphs in the style? Also, have you tried selecting the offending paragraph, clicking the CLEAR ALL FORMATTING button, then reapplying the style? Sometimes a paragraph can get wonky and simply reapplying the style won't fix it. You have to clear the formatting and then reapply. If you sent me a copy of the document, I could solve it in 3 seconds but I'm not sure that's allowed in this forum. If it is, bhenley at affinityconsulting dot com.

Thank you, there are extra paragraphs expanding the space.

Do I take that to mean you've figured out how to fix it?

Yes, thank you

For some of the things we would look at see:
The text may contain blank paragraphs which will add the amount of white space on the page. To find out, display nonprinting marks (click the ¶ icon on the Home tab).
If you want someone to take a closer look, upload a representative sample document, as Charles has already suggested.

The best way to tell you would be if you could save a sample on OneDrive or DropBox with the problem and post a share link here. Do not post any confidential or proprietary information.
