In the Word title bar where the filename is shown, Word has stopped saying if the file is "saved"
In the Word title bar where the filename is shown, Office 365 Word has very recently stopped saying if the file is "saved" or "saved to pc". This feature seems to still exist in Excel.- see screen...
You are correct. This is no longer there.
It may be returned in a future release.
Thanks Charles. Real shame if this is gone for good. Hope they do get it working again. And thanks for the link to how to directly feedback re Office 365. I have done so, but not sure how long it will take for them to get to actually reading what I had to say. Are you aware of if they take any notice of direct app feedback? Certainly no sign of anything so far in my case..
DavidL1000 Do you still have this issue.
With Off-line documents, they show as "Saved to this PC" in Version 2408 (Build 17928.20156 Click-to-Run) Current Channel.
If not, try restarting your computer and then Word as Microsoft sometimes release fixes that are installed "on the fly".
- Hi Doug. Thanks for your message. Yes I still have the issue in Word, whilst Excel seems to work fine. I have done the ol' switch off and on again, but to no avail. My current build is Version 2409 Build 16.0.18025.20030 64-bit.
- Pleased to say that the "saved" and "saved to pc" are now back and operational is Word, despite no change to version no. Odd, but very welcome
