Icons selected in commands not showing up on toolbar
Recently, for some unknown reason, some of the important icons that used to be up there on my toolbar when working on Word documents (ex. Save As, Open, Print, Quickprint, Blank Document...) are not showing up there any longer. This is despite the fact that they show as selected in the Commands.
I've tried resetting and reselecting the commands, but those quick access icons are still missing in action.
Any suggestions?
Menbry Are you talking about buttons that do appear on the right hand side of the Quick Access Toolbar dialog, accessed via File>Options>Quick Access Toolbar?
- MenbryCopper ContributorYes. I added the ones I want to show up for me on top but they no longer appear there. When I click on the little double arrow at the far right end of the toolbar, another strip shows up below it with more icons, but that strip doesn't stay down. When I click away to another action, it disappears! I hope I'm making sense.
Menbry The gallery that appears when you click on the down arrow button at the right hand end of the Quick Access Toolbar will not stay down, but the items against which you place a tick should remain on the Quick Access Toolbar.
Did you perhaps change the position of the Quick Access Toolbar? I suggest setting it to appear below the ribbon.
