how to cancel the shadow shape

1. Quickly remove individual shape shadows
Operation Steps:
Select the shape/text box with shadow
Click “Shape Format” (or “Drawing Tools”) on the top menu bar
Find “Shape Effects” → “Shadows”.
Select “No Shadow”.
2. Batch unshadow (multiple objects)
 Method 1: Use the Formatting Brush
To remove shadows on one shape first
Double-click the “Format Brush” button (Start tab)
Click on the other shapes that need to have their shadows removed in turn
 Method 2: Selection Pane Operation
Press Alt+F10 to open the selection pane
Press and hold Ctrl to multi-select all shapes with shadows
Uniformly select “No Shadow” in the “Shape Format”.
3. Preventing Automatic Shadows
Turn off automatic formatting:
File → Options → Proofreading → AutoCorrect Options
In the “Apply formatting automatically when typing” tab
Uncheck “Apply shape styles automatically”.
4. Template-level changes (permanent)
Modify the default template:
Open a blank document → Insert a shape
Remove its shadow and right click on the shape → “Set as default shape”.
Save as Normal.dotm template (overwrite the original file)
