How do I Stop Word Switching to Multiple Pages View
I have a high resolution wide screen monitor. Every time I open a Word document in full screen, it switches to the Multiple Pages view (typically 2 pages, side by side). I hate this view! I can't re...
At the moment, using Jay Freedman's add-in is the only way to save the view and zoom with individual documents.
The built-in support was removed from Word about a decade ago.
Stefan_Blom Thanks for confirming. It's very frustrating. I want to prevent the behaviour on all documents, including those authored by others. It's just unhelpful and, as screens get wider, happens more often because it's more likely that there's space to trigger it. I'd rather use that space for other windows, but I'm not sure I can even keep Word opening in windows narrow enough to prevent the two-page view.
