Hidden Symbol in Word; Cannot Find and Replace
When copying pasting from web pages or from Google email, I often encounter this weird symbol, imbedded in the document and only visible from the Show/Hide function. It creates an extra space in docu...
Try selecting and copying one of the characters. Then in Replace, paste into the Find What box.
If that does not work, try putting ^c in the Find What box.
Try pasting as plain text.
I suspect it is something that does not fit with your font.
Charles_Kenyon Thank you. I have tried this (Find/Replace a space character), but this is not a space, a non-breaking space or white space. It is something else that "Find" skips over. I have also tried to copy and paste the character in "Find/Replace" and it will not paste into the "Find" box.
