Harvard Referencing Style missing from Word 2019
- Nov 09, 2022
Thank you for your quick response - not the one I was hoping for but appreciated nonetheless!
A shame that the styles have not been updated, it was a useful tool.

The most useful XSL file I have been able to find so far, although it may still be out of date, is on the link attached: How do I add Cite Them Right to Microsoft Word on a personal device? - LibAnswers
And it seems my previous answer was deleted because I did not have a profile set up. Just wanted to say thank you to Charles_Kenyon for the tip about changing the display language, and wondering why on earth Microsoft still hasn't fixed this...
No one here can offer more than speculation as to why Microsoft does anything.
You can, though, send feedback to them through their Feedback mechanisms. I recommend using the public feedback portal. When you do that others can see your feedback, vote for it, and comment on it. The developers (and their supervisors) do see it. They virtually never make any kind of direct response, but I have seen it bring about changes.
Please also be the squeaky wheel and report this problem using the public feedback mechanism and coming back here and posting a link so other with the problem can comment and vote. I recommend using the public feedback portal so that others can comment and vote on your feedback. If you do post feedback, you can put a link here to lead others to it.
(Nothing posted in this or other user support forums will make any difference. Feedback does. However, do not expect a direct response to your feedback.)
Here is a link to a search on that Feedback Portal for "Harvard referenc."
Despite this being something that has been problem for more than a year, there are only two that show up.
