Formatting a book
In the second and subsequent sections, use the Page Number Format dialog box to specify that page numbering should be continuous. To access the dialog box in Word for Windows, click Insert tab > Header & Footer group > Page Number > Format Page Numbers. Select "Continue from previous section" and click OK. Repeat this with the insertion point in the next section.

Your solution re: continuous pagination was spot on. There had been a second issue that I hadn't mentioned -- keeping new Chapter Headers from leaking into previous Chapters. I figured that one out on my own, as sixty-four million youtube videos were unable to give useful instructions. Now . . . . Kindle Create is causing problems and is a real headache, but this is giving me the opportunity to pull back and look at my book project with more objectivity. Thanks again. -- Fr.
