Formatierung der Examensarbeit - Konfiguration von Formatvorlagen
It appears what you want to do is use the Word Bibliography and Citation feature.
You create the list of "Sources" to be used in the bibliography. You tell it to sort by author name. As you add sources, Word will automatically sort the bibliography, and change all of the "citation" numbers used.
Then in the document you can add "citations" that refer to the bibliography.
Word supports many bibliography styles. You will have to find the one that looks the way your boss wants it to look
Here are some articles on how to create sources and how to insert citations

A bibliography is a list of sources, usually placed at the end of a document, that you consulted or cited in creating the document. In Microsoft Office Word 2007, you can automatically generate a bibliography based on the source information that you provide for the document.
