Fonts not shown in word

Hi!
Anyone has had experiences where fonts (whole groups) are not shown in MS Word? I can see all of them in other software (such as Affinity, and Adobe ...), but not in Word. I see for example one font of type brown, while in other software I see the whole group of font brown.

I have installed the font in many different ways and none of them work correctly.

    Hi tjasa335,

    Here are some additional things you can try:

    • Make sure that the font files are not damaged. You can do this by opening the font files in a font viewer, such as FontForge or Font Book. If the font files are damaged, you will need to download and reinstall the fonts.
    • Make sure that the fonts are installed in the correct folder. On Windows, the font folder is usually located at C:\Windows\Fonts. On Mac, the font folder is located in the Applications folder, inside the Font Book app.
    • Try restarting your computer. 
    • Try disabling all of your Word add-ins. To do this, go to File > Options > Add-Ins. If the problem goes away after disabling your add-ins, then one of your add-ins is likely causing the problem.
    • Try repairing or reinstalling Word. 

    To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Control Panel.
    2. Go to Programs and Features.
    3. Find Microsoft Office in the list of programs.
    4. Right-click on Microsoft Office and select Change.
    5. In the How would you like to repair your Office programs? dialog box, select Repair and then click Continue.

      If you have time, could you maybe try if the font is shown with your Word?
      Maybe this font has some kind of incompatibility with Word. It is recognized in word, just not shown in the fonts, while it is shown fully (whole group) in Adobe Indesign for example.
