Font size changing mid-word
Using Microsoft 365, Word Version 2507
Some of my documents have an issue where the font size will change as I'm typing. I'm particularly having this issue with a document where everything is Size 12 Arial, and the characters will change to 9.5 or to 14. The 14 seems to only happen when I press enter, while the 9.5 will happen at any time.
I've noticed that if pause after hitting enter, the font will change to 14 for a second and then change back to 12 (without me doing anything), and repeat for each enter. Based on the timing I thought maybe this is something to do with the autosave to OneDrive.
I've had a similar issue in the past where it also changed the font. In that case, it seemed like it was reverting to the "Normal" style, but on this document the Normal style is Size 12 Arial.

Try the following: Press Ctrl+D to display the Font dialog box. Specify the desired font and size, which, based on your description, appears to be Arial 12 points. Click the Set as Default button; when prompted, choose the option to apply changes to the current document only.
The above steps are usually necessary because modifying the Normal style won't automatically change the document default font. On the other hand, changing the default (using the steps I described in the above paragraph) will change the defaults and also update Normal.
