Font changes spacing after file is saved

I have been using the font Bahnschrift Light Condensed in numerous documents I have created in Word and Publisher.  Just recently when I save the completed file only the letters using this font all change their spacing and touch.  It looks fine when I save it something happens when I save the file.  Does the same if it saved as a PDF.  I need to use this font since I need the paperwork to be consistent for this club I am working for.
