I have a similar issue and would like to know of any work arounds. Ctrl F doesn't work when sections are collapsed, and there is no way to open them all in bulk. And, as you mentioned, clicking on a link in one section doesn't take you to the exact content, just another collapsed section.
I would love to see an option to open all sections or a search option for everything on one page that can search or link inside a collapsed section.

SamanthaLD Under normal circumstances, what is the reason for having the headings collapsed.
Instead of collapsing headings, I would use Find>Go To... to go to a particular part of a document.
- SamanthaLDJun 17, 2024Brass ContributorThe page would be huge and unreadable if I didn't collapse the sections. This way they can be read in a similar way to a table of contents. Even so, there are still a lot of headings. A toc only works when you know what you are looking for. Search works when you have a general idea and want to find keywords.
I used to have this in OneNote, and I'm thinking it might be better to move it back since the search options are better. However, I really would prefer to have everything in one secure location.
