Expand section when checkbox is checked without the need for VBA

Is it possible for me to use either a checkbox to control if the section gets expanded or collapsed? Or is it possible for me to be directed to a section when I choose a value from a dropdown list? Hoping not to use VBA for this, so that the document can be maintained / revised by others when needed.
