Error with cross references in track changes when exporting to PDF
I have a document with cross-references and the track changes activated. When I export it to PDF it marks all cross references as changed, when they have not been changed. I have attached two images ...
I have a similar problem except Track Changes is turned off, but each time I go to Print Preview, it turns the cross-references into a marked change, as in the original poster's second image. Even if I save immediately beforehand, the act of print-previewing turns it into a change. This happens regardless of the settings in Options for updating fields or updating linked date before printing (display settings) or allowing fields containing track changes to update before printing (advanced settings).
What you can do is make a copy of the document in which you accept all changes. Then convert the copy to a PDF.
