Dots issue
I am working on a Microsoft Word document where I have dotted lines ("..................") indicating places for user input. When I start typing an answer, I want the text to replace the dots. Instea...
Are these lines created with a sequence of periods or perhaps with underline characters or tab leaders?
A simple way to create placeholders for text is to make use of MACROBUTTON fields (which doesn't actually have to run any macros). See https://wordmvp.com/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm.
