Disable Navigation's 'Search Paused' Feature
Hello, I am in a situation where I need to frequently search for and change across my document. I find the automatic 'Search Paused' feature after making an edit in the document very annoying. The two images below show what I am referring to.

Is there any way to disable this feature so that, after making a search, all the text remains highlighted and I can continue to see the count / examples in the Navigation Plane? Essentially, in the exact same way as a web browser with CTRL-F.
Whether it's an option in the settings, some kind of 'better search' add-on I can install, or an edit I'd need to make in the registry, please tell me if there is a solution. I vastly prefer Microsoft Word over its competitors but this is a huge issue that greatly slows down my workflow. Thank you.
StickTalk Try the Advanced Find facility accessible from the Find dropdown in the Editing section of the Home tab of the ribbon.
