Copilot not work
Apple App Store Copilot/Microsoft 365 subscription has expired. On the same account I now have a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription purchased on microsoft.com. Word, Excel, etc. work, but Copilot does not work in Word or anywhere else.

It sounds like the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription may not be properly linked to the Copilot license yet. Since Word and Excel are working with the new subscription, I would first sign out of Microsoft 365 completely, then sign back in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase Microsoft 365 Personal.
I would also check the Services and subscriptions page in the Microsoft account to confirm that the new subscription is active and that Copilot is included. If it still does not appear in Word after that, it may be an account or license synchronization issue on Microsoft's side.
Copilot does not work with your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription because Copilot in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams requires a separate Microsoft 365 Copilot add‑on license. Microsoft 365 Personal only includes access to Copilot Chat (web/app) with usage limits, not the full in‑app Copilot integration.
