Color and resolution inconsistencies when placing a logo in Word

I'm a designer and have created a logo in Illustrator for my client. I have saved the logo as a .jpeg, .png and .pdf for her. When she places the logos into her document, the colors aren't consistent between the different file formats. Also, after she places a .jpeg for example, saves and closes, when she reopens the logo is not blurry. She is using Word 2017. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I've built all of my logo files from the exact same base image ...
