Capture ink signature in Word App

I have an existing Word add-in that capture form data and allows the user to use a pen to provide their signature that is saved in the document before it is locked.

We need to convert this solution to a Word App to work with Office 365 App version, recreating the form and updating in the document can be replicated but is there a javascript solution for capturing ink in the app and writing that as an image into the document?
