Can no longer load large Word files

   I'm using Office 2019 Word.  At some point, my long docx refused to load or takes forever.  I can't even load a 1,491 KB file.  Longer files used to load in a few seconds at most.  Now I wait an hour or more and sometimes it simply stops trying.  If I could load it once, I'd chop it up into smaller sizes.

   I have no graphics.  Just a couple simple macros.  What does the community suggest?
