Can I customize the size of a page in Word?
I'm having a book published. The inside pages are 8.5X11 inches. The publisher wants me to send the PDF cover in a size that doesn't appear in the Word pull down menu. Can I customize the page size for the cover? How do I do this?
8.5 x 11 is what is referred to in the menus as letter size.
If you go to the layout tab and pull down the Size menu you can set a custom size. You will want a section break before your 8.5 x letter content so that your cover is a separate section. Apply the change to the section.
