Auto double spacing in word
Hello,
As in the image above, I have an issue with having double spacing in my Phd dissertation. It occurs only in some places,. I think this is an issue with the justify option. I have tried pressing the space bar several times, which corrects the text, but when I back space, it goes back to how it shows in the image. Is there any way to fix this???? Any help much appreciated!!! Cheers, Nik.

In justified text, spacing between words will be larger if necessary to fill the gap between the margins. You can hyphenate the words to reduce the effect of this (or avoid justified text, of course, but you may not have that option).
