Cannot add Windows 2019 node to hyper-v cluster

I am performing a rolling update of a Storage Spaces Direct hyper-converged cluster. When attempting to add a cluster node back into the cluster I am receiving the following error:

The server '<servername>' could not be added to the cluster.
An error occurred while adding node 'HV01.samford.bcf.org.au' to cluster 'CLX-S2D'.

Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation.

The system has plenty of memory. I can see any other errors anywhere. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It was to do with missing updates. Install the latest CU and you should be good.

Jachin Thanks. I resolved it too but I had already the latest CU installed, so I completely reinstalled that node and again installed the CU update, then it worked. Maybe there was something not going well with the first CU install.

  • Hi Jachin

    How did you resolve that?

    I have the same issue.

Did re-join two 2019 node successfully, now with the 3rd and last node I get this error message.
