Windows 11 Language Pack Issue (0x800F0950)

Hi there,

Just upgraded to Windows 11 today and experienced an issue which technical support couldn't really help with, and looking at all the tutorials out there didn't help either. The screenshot sums it up:

Would appreciate some help please on how to fix it. :]

Nas-K For me the Windows 10 19H2 Language packs still working like a charm on Windows 11. I am using the Arabic Language pack available here > https://appsforwin10.com/windows-10-1909-iso-19h2/

go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Tools

Start Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service

and set  Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service  to automatic will solve the problem

    Hello everyone!

    Please refer to:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/languages-overview#get-language-resources-languages-and-optional-features-iso

Because language packs are an important issue, Microsoft has made this available - I believe that

    this is helpful!

    Good luck!

Chow_Ian_Wang Yes, I found a fix for the language I was looking for, but it's a bit third party. There are people who developed a language pack, and you can paste the files into the system folder.

If Chinese is the language you are looking for, good instructions can be found on here, it's what I used http://www.xitongzhijia.net/soft/215090.html

Yes, Windows 11 is now available for download from the Dev insider channel. If the hardware is compatible, you shouldn't face any issue.

You are correct, while everything expected to work when the hardware is compatible , user might face some issues (they are unexpected and that is what Windows Insider is all about) . However, in such a case, they could file a report in the Feedback Hub app, so the Windows team will investigate the issue.

Update: Microsoft released the Windows 11 Insider build, basically you may get it through the Windows Insider Dev channel , take a look at:

No, an official insider dev build has not been released yet. This particular post is in regards to the leaked version that's out in the wild right now.

All copy of Windows 11 out there are unofficial and not trusted.
You have to wait for the official release of the Windows 11 and soon there would be an insider build and then you try this in the official release.

I apologize what you want to explain to us?
Do you think this version is illegal?
If you gave the MTC Member detailed information it participates in the project and I will not question it!

Deleted, As Windows 11 is not released yet, and someone is asking support for it, he/she is of course not using the official build.

  • Why do you share anything with htpp. - I'm not going to open this link!

        Thank you!
The right place to report is the Feedback Center for Windows, in what build is this issue?
If this is a trial version then the language pack just might not be developed - that's a normal thing
