When Windows 11 will support 7gen i7-7500U intel processcor
Hii everyone
I have aroud 4 years old computer(running Windows10) that has the i7-7500U intel CPU.
I checked with the "PC health check" app, and the only missing requirment update to windows 11 is the proccessor.
Does Micorsoft will update the Windows11 to support this CPU also?

- I'm also in the same boat - only the processor is stopping Win 11. I'm over-speced on everything else. I CERTAINLY HOPE THIS THREAD WILL GET A REPLY FROM A MICROSOFT EMPLOYEE AT THE VERY LEAST TO TELL US IT'S COMING. Makes no sense.
- No te preocupes! descarga he instala Windows 11 hay una herramienta llamada MediaCreationTool es un archivo .bat, solo debes descargarla y ejecutar despues elegir windows 11 y en creacion de usb. Yo lo hice en una laptop dell con el mismo i7 (7500 u) y no me dio ningún error! de hecho actualmente tengo la versión mas nueva, se actualiza normalmente.

- I am facing same problem. TPM.2.0, secure boot enable. I hope Microsoft listed Intel i3 7 th generation processor for windows 11 in feature.

Exact the same problem with my 2 PC:s. It´s crazy not to support Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz or i7-7500 CPU @ 2.70GHz (both only 3 years old).

- I have a same problem. It is not clear explanation why windows 11 not support intel 7th generation cpu. This is Microsoft's arbitrary (political) decision. I think that there are no other reasons.

- really? via windows update in the settings? when i go to windows update it shows that i can't upgrade.
- Hi yes. Even i can't believe it. yesterday i got it. It says successfully updated to windows 11. Windows health check app still says I can't upgrade to windows 11 because my processor is not supported. I didn't do any manual update as it's risky.
