System tray icon issues on Windows 11 Insider Build 22581.1 in Beta Channel
So far I have run into two new issues with the system tray icons with the Windows 11 Insider Build 22581.1 released in the Beta Channel.
1. I'm not able to move system tray icons around as before
2. System tray icons are not being removed after closing the app or killing the process (*workaround is to restart the explorer.exe process for icon to be removed from tray).
I'm hoping these issues will be resolved soon.

- jonnoevansCopper ContributorI'm experiencing the same issue as of 21st April 2022
- ArnauwCopper ContributorIt's very annoying, please fix Microsoft.
We all want to be able to move our sys tray icons like before.

ended up just rolling back to the non-preview build because this was not addressed. fear for the day MS pushes this out to the whole world, with the negative reaction on just the insiders group I can't imagine it will go well for them. i'll be holding at this version until its resolved.

Most of the time when I click on the clock/date in the task bar I only get a reduced version of the calendar to pop up, e.g. just showing month and days, but no dates below those days... And it can take up to 30 seconds for this to even show. Known bug?
I have Windows 11 Pro 21H2 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0 - ArnauwCopper ContributorThe issue just have been fixed in Preview Build 22616.1 !
Didn't try to restart yet but we can sort the sys tray icon just like before !
Thanks for listening to the feedback Microsoft.- ArnauwCopper ContributorYup I can confirm it keeps your sys tray icons order even after a reboot.
Thanks Microsoft !
