stuck in pending restart
Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509)
When I restart, it boots up fine but still shows that there is the Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509) "pending restart.

- Then it is probably just a bad update. Just keep checking Update each week and there will probably be a fix in the near future. Same thing happened in the Canary Channel. Had to wait 2 weeks for the new update which fixed everything.
- Try this. Go to Windows Update, Advanced Options, Recovery and then Fix Problems Using Windows Update and Click on Reinstall Now. See if it pops back up again.
I've done that numerous times and it still says that I need to restart to finish updating.

- How long it has been in this condition?
Check the Windows Update history and see if it has been installed successfully?
Try perform a normal restart (not restart and install update) and see if the problem persists?
