Reinstall windows led to boot loop

Question

After being asked to reinstall windows as the insider update would not install, I am now stuck in a ‘boot loop’. Running on a dell inspiron, the laptop loops the dell logo and welcome and then switches off and restarts. Could really use some help!

Thank you, I ended up having to boot via a usb and restart from scratch. It’s a shame but it’s got the laptop working again! Thank you to everyone that helped me with this!

Do you have access to the Windows installer file through the DVD or USB?
If yes, try boot with it and perform installation.
You may also try force shutdown twice to load the Windows Recovery Environment and perform troubleshooting from there.

Reza_Ameri&nbsp;it was a purchase from a refurb company, so no disc etc, is it downloadable? Currently getting this message now. Very worried as this was advised for me to do and now&nbsp; it seems I’ve lost all my work.

Are you using Windows 10 or Windows 11?In case you have access to another PC, you may create the installer media by downloading it.

Windows 11, the insider wouldn’t install. Was told to do a reinstall, but left with what looks like a wiped laptop! How do I create the installer media? Thank you so much for your help!
