Open office problem repairing/recovering lock files
I have a problem with open office (I think it's version 4, but I don't know if it's of any interest):
I was working on several documents, some had an earlier version saved, others named and were called "unnamed x"
I don't really know what happened but suddenly the computer rebooted on its own (probably an update that didn't want to wait any longer) and I would like to point out that the automatic backup option is checked (for all 15 ')
usually when this kind of thing happens, when restarting open office, it throws me a window offering to recover files that were open before crashing, but this time it did not offer it.
however, the files exist on the disk, for the most part in the additional disks and we can clearly see with the dates that the last modifications of these files are found in a file which begins with .~lock.... .odt#
do you think there is a way either
- to resynchronize/tinker with the list of open files so that the next time Open Office reopens it offers to repair the files and display the latest modifications which are in these ~locks
- to open each file in isolation, so that it takes into account the latest unsaved modifications contained in the lock files
- another alternative to access the file and its latest unsaved modifications

The .~lock.... .odt# files are lock files indicating the document was open or being edited.
These files are not the actual document content but signals for recovery.
When OpenOffice crashes or is closed improperly, it may not automatically display the recovery dialog, especially if it detects lock files or if it considers the session closed.

Unfortunately, the battery icon's size is determined by the theme or style used by your operating system, and it's not directly customizable through right-clicking on the icon without modifying system settings or themes.
