No Audio Output Device is installed, No audio device is installed !!!

I updated my windows to Windows 11 at the very beginning of its first release. That was completely fine; my laptop run smoothly. But a few months ago, after a Windows update, my audio stopped working. It raises an "No audio device is installed" error.

Thank you for reaching out and mentioning me in the post on the Microsoft Community Hub. I appreciate your efforts to assist me with the video fix.

However, after reviewing the video, I don't think it will be helpful in resolving my current issue. I will continue exploring other options to address the issue.

Thank you once again for your support.

You can run the Audio Troubleshooter to fix the issue. Press Win + I to open Settings. Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. Find and run the Playing Audio troubleshooter.

    Reinstall Audio Drivers:
Open Device Manager: Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
Uninstall Audio Device: Right-click your audio device and select Uninstall device.
Restart Your Computer: Windows should automatically reinstall the audio drivers.

Had this issue today. Found my solution was a system restore.

System was restored to the previous windows update yesterday.

Got my audio back after restart.

Audio issues were likely a symptom of a bigger problem as command prompt was not giving any right click options besides 'pin to start'.

Could not use sfc or DSIM in safe mode either.

Did system restore from safe mode, may not need to be in safe mode to complete a system restore.

    >Shift+restart (to enter safe mode)

    >Troubleshoot

    >Advanced options

    >System restore

Reinstall audio driver. In Device Manager, right-click your audio device and select Uninstall device. Restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the correct driver.
