No Audio Output Device is installed, No audio device is installed !!!
Had this issue today. Found my solution was a system restore.
System was restored to the previous windows update yesterday.
Got my audio back after restart.
Audio issues were likely a symptom of a bigger problem as command prompt was not giving any right click options besides 'pin to start'.
Could not use sfc or DSIM in safe mode either.
Did system restore from safe mode, may not need to be in safe mode to complete a system restore.
