Laptop wouldnt start

Today, my Laptop (Huawei Matebook D, Windows 11) was getting hot even though i was just doing some "light" excel work . The fan was going at top speed it seemed.
Then it was refusing to save things, giving error messages i didnt understand.
Then i shut it down in case it just needed to cool down.
But when i started it back up a half hour later, it, for 30 minutes, wouldnt recognise my PIN...and just kept going black screen..........it would allow me to restart
it, but just went black screen again...i could access the task manager, but to no avail.
The laptop seems ok now though.
Do you know what might have happened?

    1. Basic troubleshooting (5-minute quick check)
    Emergency Recovery Steps:
    Forced reboot
Long press the power button for 15 seconds to force shutdown
Wait for 30 seconds to restart
    2. Check power supply
Plug in the charger and make sure the charging indicator is on
Try to use the power directly after removing the battery (removable model)
    3. Peripheral interference test
    Unplug all USB devices/SD card
External monitor test (Fn + display toggle key)
    4. Advanced Recovery Program
     Option A: Enter Safe Mode
    Force interrupt startup 3 times:
Immediately long press the power button to force shutdown when LOGO appears on boot, repeat 3 times
Select “Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Boot Settings > Reboot
Press F4 to enter Safe Mode
     Option B: System Restore
Enter the recovery environment through the above method
Select “Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > System Restore”
Select the most recently available restore point
Option C: Command Repair (requires recovery environment)
    cmd
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd
    5. Hardware Diagnostics
    Key testing steps:
    Memory test:
Remove the machine and re-insert the memory sticks (eraser to clean the gold fingers)
    Hard disk test:
    Restore the environment to run:
    cmd
    chkdsk C: /f /r
    6. BIOS reset:
Boot into BIOS by pressing F2/DEL
    Select “Load Default Settings”
    7. Ultimate Solution
    Make an emergency boot disk:
Download Windows 11 ISO from another computer
Make a boot disk using Rufus
Select “Repair Computer” instead of Installation
