Laptop wouldnt start
1. Basic troubleshooting (5-minute quick check)
Emergency Recovery Steps:
Forced reboot
Long press the power button for 15 seconds to force shutdown
Wait for 30 seconds to restart
2. Check power supply
Plug in the charger and make sure the charging indicator is on
Try to use the power directly after removing the battery (removable model)
3. Peripheral interference test
Unplug all USB devices/SD card
External monitor test (Fn + display toggle key)
4. Advanced Recovery Program
Option A: Enter Safe Mode
Force interrupt startup 3 times:
Immediately long press the power button to force shutdown when LOGO appears on boot, repeat 3 times
Select “Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > Boot Settings > Reboot
Press F4 to enter Safe Mode
Option B: System Restore
Enter the recovery environment through the above method
Select “Troubleshooting > Advanced Options > System Restore”
Select the most recently available restore point
Option C: Command Repair (requires recovery environment)

5. Hardware Diagnostics

Memory test:
Remove the machine and re-insert the memory sticks (eraser to clean the gold fingers)

Make an emergency boot disk:
Download Windows 11 ISO from another computer
Make a boot disk using Rufus
