It sounds like you've been pulled into the DEV build unintentionally, and the update process is giving you a headache. Don't worry—you can fix this and switch to the beta channel. Here’s what you can do:
- Go to Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program.
- Scroll down and select Stop getting preview builds.
- If the option is available, select Unenroll this device when the next major release of Windows is installed to leave smoothly during the next stable update.
