icloud for windows error occurred during authentication please try again

Greetings i keep gett the above error when i attempt to install icloud for windows. As a result outlook will not open. Can i please have an explanation as to why this is happening? Very frustrating because i cannot get an answer. i have unintalled and reintalled and still get the same results. what am i missing please?
