icloud for windows error occurred during authentication please try again

Greetings i keep gett the above error when i attempt to install icloud for windows. As a result outlook will not open. Can i please have an explanation as to why this is happening? Very frustrating b...

Are thou referring to the iCloud Sync Client or the Outlook (Email) Client?

  So, thee sees this error when booting up the "new Outlook"? Are thou able to send a screenshot? Is there other error data shown?
