i m facing problem to update Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview

 i m facing problem to update ' Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.26120.4161) (KB5058515) '. its showing updates failed always.

how can i fix this issue

    I, also. It downloads correctly, goes through the whole installation process, and then fails with the message:

    "We could not complete the install because an update service was shutting down."

    I wonder if what is happening is that this update actually has to shut down the installer, and so it then says it failed.

    I have tried all the other stuff. Cannot do a fresh install of Windows as I cannot take the time to reinstall everything.

    I tried to find a place to download the KB5058488 update itself and install manually but cannot find a place to download it. The Microsoft download centre doesn't seem to have the update.

    Had the same problem for weeks now, as well as with .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11 Insider Preview for x64 (KB5056579) = Install error - 0x8000ffff on both. Neither will update, KB5056579 gets to 31% then jumps to 100% with install error as above. Tried all the usual tricks but nothing fixes this.

      Why the silence from Microsft? They say that they want feedback and then, when you give it, they ignore you as if nothing is going on? No fix, no work around, just silence.
