How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

- wiktBrass ContributorI was searching online if anyone had this issue, and post above popped up on google. Today I was editing 5 Doc files. Switching between Words, just to copy and paste text between those files was a f*cking nightmare. My mouse left button broke after all those clicks! It kinda clicks double now and sometimes button stays pressed! I think I will have to buy a new mouse! I'm f*cking furious right now! Seriously! I can't work like this! Let me ungroup taskbar windows! It makes me angry! I waste time and now money, because I broke my mouse, just because of M$ idiotic decisions? I'm extremely MAD right now!
- CassRTIron ContributorI feel your pain. I actually upgraded to WIN 11 in September 2021. One of the first things I do is "never combine" on the task bar. When I found out it was not an option in Win 11, I immediately rolled back to 10. Lately my PC has been acting up. I will not purchase a Win 11 computer. The Chromebook is beginning to look very attractive.
- the_reckonerBrass ContributorVery disheartening that MS doesn't look into and fix the most talked about productivity bottleneck in Win 11
- Dobri165Copper ContributorCannot believe that 1 year after Windows 11 has been released this issue is not fixed yet. The UI might look very beautiful but it's disgusting when you have to use it. Clicking, clicking, clicking, you have to click 10 times in order to do something that can be done with one click. Such a waste of time. Just lay off the UI designers and bring us the option the use old UI from Windows 7.
- 101FeedbackCopper ContributorLooks like my job this week is to go back ton Windows 10. There is no way I can work with 11 as it is

So I will have to lose time to go back to windows 10. Thank you MS for wasting my time 😞
- NickP2020Iron ContributorIf they spent .001% of the time they spent on making the roll back work so well on re-adding a "Never Combine" option back to the task bar, I wouldn't have had to roll back to Windows 10 in the first place. A+ on the rollback. F- on the lack of "Never Combine" option. 😞 😞 😞
- Abdo_ACICopper ContributorWhat a waste of time having to click 3 times instead of once to access the desired running app window/tab. Bring back the ability to ungroup running app icons PLEASE!!!

I rolled back to windows 10...
I am quite surprised to hear Microsoft Help Employees first response to be "You can rollback and we can help."
I denied their help as they could screw more than the devs and I lose trust in Microsoft.
So when they say Zero Trust it means you lose trust in Microsoft at a fast pace... ever since Bill left...btw just to add to this if you think it's idiotic for this option to be missing wait till you see that you got to connect your Wi-Fi even though you are on LAN to connect to your TV wirelessly... and to make even things worse it failed all the time. When I rolled back to 10 I connected via LAN and then to the TV without any issues.
There are a lot of devs who learn.. or maybe an AI made the decisions, I dunno anymore.

"There are a lot of devs who learn.. or maybe an AI made the decisions, I dunno anymore."
And what is Artificial Intelligence? AI.
- Mu6o_Brass ContributorWell yeah... considering they are rolling out to production in Teams and Bings, they might as well have used it to predict what feature or whatnot people use collecting big data and **bleep**, I dunno man.

I want "Newer Combine Taskbar Feature" in Windows 11. I'm not a fan of MAC.

- NaserARABCopper ContributorUpdate to Win 11
Try to find the option to never combine.
Did not find that option.
Roll back to Windows 10 🙂 - AnonymousGreat work, Microsoft. The man who made the decision to make such a fancy interface case to fire, it's sabotage and just not professional
