How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

- Read the thread people. An Explorer Patch was listed and works: I'm using it.
Just consider it another mod for your OS. Same as getting "Start10" or "Start11" to replace that horrible start button, use the Explorer Patch to get back individual buttons on your task bar. - Why?? You need to add options, not reduce them.
please bring this(never combine taskbar buttons) feature back - Bring back never combine please! Will save me millions of clicks, thousands of seconds per year!!
- windows 11 looks nice but its taskbar is very uncomfortable and you can't raise it up, that's why I went back to win10.
- This is absolutely terrible, who decided this???
I always set this to on because it's much easier to switch between the different instances of the application. It's much more productive!
Plus the items that are pinned are in between the ones that are open, only a small line 'shows' that there is an instance open. This is ridiculous; there should at least the option to switch it back again like in Windows 10. Windows 11 = downgrade- Please Microsoft, bring this option back. We need it.
This and the possibility to pick the taskbar size: some of us like the small taskbar icons.
Enforcing a particular style / menu ain't good for anyone!
- So they break the virtual desktop slider by taking away the animation.
And they break the taskbar as well.
W.T.A.F microsoft? - I just upgraded to Win11 not imagining for any moment they would have removed such a feature, if I knew I would never have bothered with it at all, so just rolling back as I can't use it this way!
srsly wtf, why Microsoft hasn't issued a patch for this yet?
- For users who like to be told how to work on a closed system, there is already an option - Apple, MacOS. Microsoft should continue to let users choose how they like their taskbar
