How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

This is absolutely terrible, who decided this???
I always set this to on because it's much easier to switch between the different instances of the application. It's much more productive!
Plus the items that are pinned are in between the ones that are open, only a small line 'shows' that there is an instance open. This is ridiculous; there should at least the option to switch it back again like in Windows 10. Windows 11 = downgrade

- francebbDec 08, 2021Brass ContributorPlease Microsoft, bring this option back. We need it.
This and the possibility to pick the taskbar size: some of us like the small taskbar icons.
Enforcing a particular style / menu ain't good for anyone!
