Does anyone like this startup menu?

I came across custom theme with the following startup menu. I think it is cool and want to know how to trick the default theme like this.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can try creating your own theme from scratch. This requires a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and Windows API calls.

Websites like DeviantArt often have themes specifically designed for Windows 11. Look for themes that suit the style you want. You can use tools like UltraUXThemePatcher to enable third-party themes. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully, as patching the system files can have risks.

That’s a great tip! I’ve used UltraUXThemePatcher before to customize my Windows setup, and it opens up so many options for third-party themes. Just a heads-up—make sure you create a restore point before patching, in case something goes wrong. Sites like DeviantArt have some amazing designs for Windows 11, and it’s so fun to tweak the look to match your vibe. Have you tried any specific themes, or are you exploring right now?

By changing the accent color of Windows, you can also affect the appearance of the Start menu.
    To change accent colors:

    • Go to Settings > Personalization > Colors.
    • Select your preferred accent color and toggle on Show accent color on the Start, taskbar, and action center for an updated look.

    Hello,

This startup menu appears to have been customized using tools or themes that allow changes to the Windows Start Menu's layout and design. To achieve a similar look, you can try the following methods:

    Use Third-Party Customization Tools

    Start11 (by Stardock):

    • Allows you to customize the Start Menu, make it transparent, and reorganize its layout.
    • Provides a modern, centered menu similar to the one shown in your image.
    • Link: Start11 by Stardock

    Open-Shell (Classic Shell):

    • Free and open-source tool to customize the Start Menu.
    • Can modify icons, layout, and functionality.

    Enable Experimental Features with ViVeTool

    • Microsoft often tests new Start Menu designs in Insider builds.
    • Use ViVeTool to enable hidden experimental features.
    • Example Commands: vivetool /enable /id:<feature_id>
    • Some feature IDs are associated with grid layouts or category views. (Ensure you're running an Insider Preview build that supports these features.)

    Install a Custom Windows Theme

Use tools like UltraUXThemePatcher to unlock the ability to use third-party themes.

Download custom themes resembling this design from sites like DeviantArt.

    Steps:

    • Install UltraUXThemePatcher.
    • Download a theme and follow its installation instructions.
    • Apply it via Settings > Personalization > Themes.

    Adjust Taskbar and Desktop Layout

For the centered taskbar icons and sleek design:

    • Go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and align icons to the center.
    • Use transparency effects in Settings > Personalization > Colors for a clean look.
