- DaveYearsley40Copper ContributorSame here. AMD Ryzen 7 3800X; MPG X570 Gaming Pro.
Took a few days to get PC back to normal. Hopefully, drivers, etc, are neater than before.
Now having having another bash - fingers crossed - currently Installing - 28% Windows 11 insider Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26058.1100 (ge_release) .- DaveYearsley40Copper Contributor
On second attempt after fresh install from Windows 10 USB all seems OK.
My theory, on trying to do first install (several rollbacks) Norton had previously encouraged me to update drivers - I don't think that helped.
- DaveYearsley40Copper ContributorOS build 26058.1300 Windows 11 Home 24H2 was installed on 2/3/24. Been alright since albeit on second screen cannot share a one drive folder (it turns screens on and off) but OK if I move to first screen! Feel relieved to have got here - hope it is stable have prepared a boot usb.
Drivers installed on 2/3/24 were Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Display - 32.0.11000.14002;
Advanced Micro Devices - MEDIA - 10.0.1.21; Nahimic - MEDIA - 2.0.1.0 and Intel Corporation - Extension - 22.80.0.4

raman415 I confirm total buggy version : after success to install windows 11 canary/dev 10.0.26058.1100 with a total sanitize ssd, I am going to have desk flickering, mouse stop, buggy video driver with 32gb ram dd5, asus tuf b760, and SSD crucial P5 and RX6800 AMD with the windows update insider amd 32.xx (WDDM 3.2 driver).
So i must format and try another version later. Microsoft internally test only on hyper V the new version or with really physics tower and laptop ? Because, more and more technology but more and more bug with a structure legacy from 95 version of windows ... It's important soon very soon to clean the win32 architecture...

Same thing with the Canary new update - black screen during update.
- eezauCopper ContributorI tried install both versions 26058 and 26063.1 and both failed.
I have 5800X3d. I updated all drivers before I tried update 26063.
With version 26058 I took all usb cables off from computer but still that failed.- fpaulocCopper Contributor
Hi all, did you check the update from 22-02?

I would like to know how I can clean all update cache and reset Windows update to see if it happens also with this new version

From the explanations on the Microsoft Blog, it appears that it is possible to install the ISO of this Insider build, but only as a clean install, it will surely remove everything :
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-insider/isos#clean-installation-with-a-windows-insider-preview-iso
It seems that this ISO is useless!
"Using the ISOs for Build 26058 to upgrade instead of doing a clean install may not work if you choose “Keep nothing” in the Windows Setup experience. To upgrade to the latest build in the Canary and Dev Channels, please use Windows Update."

So they have released a new version https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2024/02/22/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-26063-canary-channel/
- [UPDATED] We’ve made a change to help reduce the number of rollbacks (with error code 0xC1900101) when installing the latest builds and are continuing to investigate reports.
The question is: Is there a way to skip this 26058? Because I have tried deleting current windows update data, but update clicking Update, the same evil 26058 appears, instead of the new 26063.
