audio problem (noise and audio channel inversion)
my audio has been causing problems for quite a few builds now, I've been trying to fix it but without success so far. tried SFC and DISM, restored the system with ISO, uninstalled the drivers, cleaned all audio drivers with DDU, tested old and new drivers. only thing that temporarily fixes my problem is to restart the audio host or change the audio format (which will also restart the audio host).
(the bug occurs on all sound controller. Realtek onboard and Creative offboard)
(I have already made a report on this as well)
in the end I sold the pci-e dac and bought an external one and all the problems were solved, I'll never use anything from creative/soundblaster on windows again
- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorSince when this problem started?
Are you facing the same issue in Safe Mode too?
Have you tried uninstalling the sound driver and use the Windows default sound driver?- Robson_MarquesCopper Contributor
started many months ago.
latest build of canary killed my safe mode (no boot).
I already tested with standard windows driver.
I was researching and testing more, apparently it's something Microsoft and AMD will have to work out together.- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorSo you are using Windows Insider , is that correct?
Make sure report this issue using the Feedback Hub app?
Are you able to perform the Clean Boot?
