my audio has been causing problems for quite a few builds now, I've been trying to fix it but without success so far. tried SFC and DISM, restored the system with ISO, uninstalled the drivers, cleane...

in the end I sold the pci-e dac and bought an external one and all the problems were solved, I'll never use anything from creative/soundblaster on windows again

Since when this problem started?
Are you facing the same issue in Safe Mode too?
Have you tried uninstalling the sound driver and use the Windows default sound driver?

started many months ago.
latest build of canary killed my safe mode (no boot).
I already tested with standard windows driver.
