application icon are not shown in my desktop

i have normal upgrade my pc from setting and after restart my icon was invisible from desktop.. after that i have contact to ms support team.. they access my pc by quick_support and done upgrade from iso file.. which is failed with an error.. i am also enrolled in window insider program.. so they give me link of this forum.. how can i fix this problem
