You can now send files to Android from startup

Windows 11's Start menu has a new feature called "Send files", which allows you to drag and drop files to your Android phone.

  • To use the "Send files" feature from Windows 11 to an Android phone, follow these steps:

    1. Ensure Both Devices Are Connected:
Make sure your Android phone and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    2. Enable Bluetooth:
On your PC, turn on Bluetooth and pair it with your Android device. You can do this from Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
    3. Send Files:
Open the Start menu on Windows 11.
    4. Right-click the file you want to send and select Send to > Send files to your Android device.
Your Android device should appear in the list, and you can choose to send the file.
    5. Receive on Android:
    6. Once the transfer starts, your Android device will prompt you to accept the file.
