You can double click the column divider to resize the column before it to fit
When using Details mode in File Explorer, you can double click the column divider to resize the column before it to fit

Double-click the column divider in the header row (e.g., between Name, Date Modified, Size). It will auto-resize the previous column to fit its largest item.
