Windows Support cant Help.

I am now at a complete loss. I have been online with Windows support and after hours of trying to fix my problem they have told me they cant help and I should look for help elsewhere. This kind of feels weird and strange if Microsoft cant fix a Microsoft problem.

I have Windows11 Pro (25H2) and cannot create a recovery drive. All the usual fixes have been tried and no joy. For example.

Cannot down load Recover version to use.

Have Downloaded both ISO English (USA & International)

Cannot do a install as it say it cant confirm if my pc is compatible with windows11. It is of course and windows runs (Almost Well) currently.

Have replaced install.wim also install.esd no success.

Everything else was tried by Microsoft.

Any comment would be very welcomed.

When you run setup.exe from an ISO mounted directly (by double-clicking it), Windows performs a strict compatibility check that can fail even on perfectly compatible hardware. This is especially common on Windows 11 25H2, which has stricter checks than earlier builds.

Hello! I know you said you reached out to windows support. Have you reached out to Microsoft technical support? I have had to reach out to them several times before and they have been so helpful, and they fixed my issues if you want me to, I can share the link to Microsoft technical support if you want me to. Just let me know :)

That's an incredibly frustrating situation, and I completely understand why it feels strange. You'd expect Microsoft to be the ultimate authority on fixing their own software. The reality is more complicated, and unfortunately, your experience isn't unique.

Microsoft released a dedicated Windows 11 Installation Assistant 25H2 that can perform an in-place upgrade repair.

Ensure that Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are enabled in your BIOS/UEFI settings, as these are required for Windows 11.
